We are a volunteer-run organization with almost no staff. That's a good thing because it means we learn the skills needed to run our organization ourselves. It also makes our organization a lot cheaper to run. We do have expenses, though. Please consider donating, to help us continue our efforts to fight bosses now and end capitalism in the (hopefully) not too distant future. All of your donation will go toward building the IWW directly and none of it will go to paying any staff.

Space Fund

Your donation helps maintain an office that provides meeting space and educational materials for members. A regular donation of any size helps us keep our finances predictable and stable. The more we can count on money coming in the less time we spend fundraising and the more time organizing.

Jimmy John's Workers Union

The JJWU is fighting for justice in the low-waged and incredibly exploitive fast food industry. With wages as low as fast food workers make, every dollar helps. Your donation helps pay for leaflets, mailings, t-shirts, buttons, travel to meet with other workers, and related efforts.

Starbucks Workers Union

The Starbucks Workers Union is a several year old effort across the IWW and around the world that is taking on a big company that likes to pretend it cares about social justice. Starbucks Workers Union members have taken on numerous fights on the job at Starbucks and have stood front and center helping other workers organize. We're proud that our branch is home to many long-time and dedicated Starbucks Workers Union organizers. Your donation helps pay for leaflets, mailings, t-shirts, buttons, travel to meet with other workers, and related efforts.

General Organizing Fund

In addition to our public campaigns we have several efforts going on behind the scenes and we regularly get new contact from workers looking to organize. We regularly put on trainings using the IWW Organizer Training Committee's training curriculum, because we believe that sharing skills builds democracy, and sharing organizing skills builds the movement of the working class fighting for our interests. A donation to the General Organizing Fund helps support our organizing campaign and training program.

TC General Defense Committee Local 14

Our union has a long history of standing up for what's right on the job and off the job, and the bosses have a long history of attacking us on the job and off. The General Defense Committee supports victims of repression who are being attacked for their role in the class struggle. Your donation helps us [do what the GDC does].

Food and Service Industrial Organizing Committee

As you can see, our two biggest and most prominent campaigns right now are in the food service industry. We have an organizing committee that works to help these campaigns coordinate with each other and with other low-waged workers in food and retail. The goals of this committee are to help our organizing campaigns support and learn from each other, and to help new organizing efforts that crop up in the industry.
